近日，中国地质大学（武汉）的姚尧教授当选为Cell旗下综合国际期刊《The Innovation》的青年编委，将参与该期刊的邀稿、审稿、投稿及各类宣传工作。
《The Innovation》是由青年科学家与Cell Press于2020年共同创办的综合性英文学术期刊，致力于展示跨学科的科学发现，鼓励研究人员专注于科学的本质和自由探索的初心。该期刊涵盖化学、材料科学、纳米技术、医学、物理学、生物学、地球科学和工程学等自然科学领域，并已被DOAJ、ADS、Scopus、PubMed、ESCI、INSPEC、EI等多个数据库收录。在2023年6月28日，Clarivate发布了《The Innovation》的首个影响因子（IF=32.1）；2023年11月，Clarivate校正了该期刊的影响因子为33.1。
姚尧教授现任中国地质大学（武汉）教授、博士生导师，并兼任多项国内外学术职务和科研顾问。自2016年以来，他在时空大数据技术和可计算城市科学领域（微观尺度城市模型）开展研究，获得了多项国际和国内学术荣誉。

Recently, Professor Yao Yao from China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) has been elected as a young editorial board member of the international journal "The Innovation," under Cell Press. He will be involved in inviting submissions, reviewing manuscripts, contributing to publications, and various promotional activities for the journal.
"The Innovation" is a comprehensive English academic journal founded jointly by young scientists and Cell Press in 2020. It is dedicated to showcasing interdisciplinary scientific discoveries and encouraging researchers to focus on the essence of science and the spirit of free exploration. The journal covers natural science fields such as chemistry, materials science, nanotechnology, medicine, physics, biology, earth sciences, and engineering. It has been indexed by multiple databases, including DOAJ, ADS, Scopus, PubMed, ESCI, INSPEC, and EI. On June 28, 2023, Clarivate released the first impact factor for "The Innovation" (IF=32.1); in November 2023, Clarivate corrected the impact factor to 33.1.
Professor Yao Yao is currently a professor and doctoral advisor at China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), and holds multiple academic and research advisory positions both domestically and internationally. Since 2016, he has been conducting research in the fields of spatiotemporal big data technology and computable urban science (microscale urban models), earning several international and domestic academic honors.
Professor Yao's election signifies an enhancement in the influence of young Chinese scientists in international academic journals.
